WANA

Leadership

The Whitland Area Neighborhood Association (WANA) is governed by a Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is responsible for managing the Association. It consists of four annually-elected officers and a minimum of six additional members, who are elected to two-year terms. Steering Committee members are elected at the annual meeting from a slate of nominees created by a Nominating Committee. Anyone who is interested in nominating themselves or someone else to serve as an officer or committee member should contact a committee member with this information before December 31st each year. Volunteers who represent all areas of the neighborhood are encouraged to submit their names to the Nominating Committee.

Monthly meetings of the Committee are held the second Thursday evening of each month (except July) in the home of committee members. The Steering Committee meetings are open to all neighborhood residents. Visitors to the meetings who wish to include an item on the agenda should contact the President or Vice-President in advance, to ensure that time will be available for discussion. PLEASE USE THE CONTACT US LINK IN THE FOOTER OF THIS WEBSITE TO CONTACT THE WANA STEERING COMMITTEE.
